Shelley's novel was originally written as a ghost story. However, in the past two centuries, science has evolved, giving humans the capability to actually engage in some creation processes. Further, we can now change existing human forms in drastic ways. By completing this WebQuest, you will assume the role of a scientist to research and engage in these processes.

3. Once you read and view these materials, you will create a personalized "monster". You will do this based on what traits you think denote the perfect man or woman.

4. Once your monster comes to life, you will share your creation with your fellow scientists.
